The original screenplay centred around a weary cavalry officer, Captain Howard Lynch, who is forced into mentoring a younger more entitled Officer  in the last days of the Peninsular War.

With Napoleon abdicating, peace returns to Europe but not to Lynch as his sense of honour destroys the young Officers wedding plans and future prospects. Yet when Napoleon once again threatens to bring Europe to it's knees, Lynch is thrust into the carnage of a brutal battle that will test not only his sense of duty but ultimately, his loyalty.

Together with screenplay writer Ross Owen Williams,  Producer Blake Sporne has taken the underlining theme of loyalty in extreme peril to an alternative narrative and developed True Colours.

True Colours

A young Officer of Wellingtons Army along with his friend witness the death of  his Brother whilst trying to save the Regiments Colours during a battle in Spain. Struggling to cope with the loss, they deal with it in conflicting ways.

Returning to England to break the news to his late Brothers Fiancee, his friend sees an opportunity for advancement which adds to their simmering differences. However, Napoleons escape from Elba and his return to power sends them spiralling towards one of the most brutal and decisive battles in history that will not only decide the fate of Nations, it will test them and their rivalry far beyond its limits.
